POSITION AVAILABLE

FARMHAND for cropping operation

Reporting to the Cropping Manager, your main duties will include but not be limited to the following:

• Assisting with the cropping program;

• Carrying out some of the spraying program;

• Assist with hay, harvest and seeding program;

• Operation and basic maintenance of various other farm machinery, vehicles, tools and equipment;

• Carrying out general property maintenance and repairs;

• Minimal livestock work required.

To be successful you will ideally demonstrate:

• A genuine passion for the industry and working in a rural location.

• A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely;

• Some knowledge and experience in cropping;

• Some knowledge on boom spray and chemical mixing;

• Competent operation of various farm machinery/equipment and carrying out basic servicing and maintenance;

• Basic mechanical and welding knowledge;

• MC or HC licence (desirable, not essential)
